Industry stakeholders are required to comply with the building regulations and adopt good practices when carrying out building works to ensure construction works are properly designed and carried out without compromise to structural safety, or cause damage to surrounding properties.This session aims to highlight the importance of building safety compliance. BCA will share the upcoming building control initiatives as well as good practices for both the design and construction of building works. A preview of a newly developed design guide on the use of Grade B600 high strength reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures will be shared.
